Hey there, and welcome to Daring Delights Bakery! If you’ve ever fallen down the sourdough rabbit hole, burnt a few loaves along the way (we don’t talk about my first attempt), or just love the smell of fresh bread, you’re in the right place.

Who Am I?

My name is Kylie, and I’m a home baker based in the Northeast Heights of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I run a small home-based micro bakery specializing in artisan sourdough loaves and other small-batch treats. My love for baking started with a simple goal: to make food that my friends and family asked for again and again. There is no better feeling than watching someone’s face absolutely light up when they eat your creations. If that's your dream too, I’m here to help!

What You’ll Find Here

Baking isn’t just about flour and water—it’s about patience, creativity, and sometimes, just hoping for the best. This blog is where I’ll share my baking adventures, tips, and favorite finds to help you on your own journey.

  •  Sourdough Shenanigans – From starter disasters to the perfect crust, I’ll walk you through the highs and lows of sourdough baking.

  • Tasty Experiments – Expect recipes that range from tried-and-true classics to "let’s see what happens if we add this" creations.

  • Kitchen Must-Haves – I’ll test out and recommend my favorite finds so you don’t waste money on tools that end up collecting dust.

  • Baking Hacks & Life Lessons – Did you know you can Revive Stale Bread with Water by running it under water, then baking it at 350°F for 10 minutes?! Boom—crispy on the outside, soft inside. (A trick used in cafes for those avocado toasts we all love so much…)

I want this blog to feel like a cozy kitchen hangout, where we share tips, swap stories, and celebrate all things baking (yes, even the flops). Have a question? A recipe you want me to try? A baking fail you need to vent about? Let’s chat!
